Covid precautions
Members of my immediate family are immuno-comprimised and/or elderly - as such I take the risk of catching Covid seriously as I believe the consequences for them (probably more than me) will be severe.
In an attempt to lower the risk of becoming a vector for Covid transmission among clients I’m always happy for either myself or pupils to wear a mask when I’m giving a lesson. I am currently triple vaccinated and have the most recent (Feb 2024) booster. I work in a well ventilated, large room with an air-filtration machine working. Alcohol based hand wash is available in the teaching room and I always use it before, during and after teaching.
If pupils have any concerns about potentially recently catchingthe virus via recent close contact or possible symptoms then I ask them to either reschedule or, if the risk seems slight, then to take a RAT test on the day of their appointment.
