Covid/Flu precautions
Members of my immediate family are immuno-comprimised and/or elderly. As such I continue to take the risk of catching Covid or any other form of viral infection seriously as I believe the consequences for my family members (probably more than me) will be severe.
If pupils have any concerns about having potentially recently caught the virus via a close contact or possible symptoms then I ask them to please either reschedule or, if the risk seems slight, then to take a RAT test on the day of their appointment.
In an attempt to lower the risk of becoming a vector for Covid transmission among my clients I’m always happy for either myself or pupils to wear a mask when I’m giving a lesson. I work in a well ventilated, large room with an air-filtration machine working. Alcohol based hand wash is available in the teaching room and I always use it before, during and after teaching.
